I have personally seen the consequences of this firsthand. Patients with good insurance and stable lives still struggle to access timely, coordinated care, often experiencing delays and gaps that would be unacceptable in many other communities. Over time, this has led many people to lose confidence in the local system and seek care outside of Yakima.
